PILOT WORKSHOP FOR FUTURE EMPLOYEES OF AVIATION SECTOR

Izmir, Turkey

The National Multiplier Event took place on April 15, 2021 and hosted as online event from İzmir, Turkey using the webex platform within the scope of the project.

The agenda was to give information about the Project and the Critical Thinking softskill, introduce the moodle platform and inform the students how to use the platform, give brief definition and develop basic understanding of Critical Thinking - softskill and Problem Solving, and to get feedback from students by performing some activities.

The group invited to the Sky 4.0 NME consisted of students from Ege University Aviation Higher Vocational School. In total the meeting counted with the participation of 34 students and 1 ACA member company consultant.

During the meeting, the participants were informed about the project and its objectives. A short explanation was made about softskills and industry 4.0. The agenda used in the event is below:

The event took place 2 hours 30 minutes totally and to increase the participation some questions were created in “padlet.com” platform. The comments and discussions were very effective and help creating clear understanding of the subject. Before closing up, there was a Q & A session which we collect students’ point of views regarding softskills and course itself.

The overall feedback was excellent. There were some suggestions of improvement about moodle platform for blind and hearing-impaired people which was very thoughtful. In addition to that, some minor improvements were suggested.

At the end, students were very interested of the concept and state their willingness to take the course if there is in the future.
